Number one offence against the number one defence.
The defence has to do a heck of a lot better stopping the run, and keeping Roethlisberger from scrambling.
This could be a slugfest.:btu:

As I said in the Indy game the defense is showing its age. The worse the weather gets the more teams will run the ball. They have holes but all teams do. Thank god they can outscore most teams but in the playoffs they will have to step it up a notch IMO.

so far this year the way the O has been racking up points has effectively put the oppisition in catch up mode which is usually pass laden........or not.

If they play Sunday the way they played the last 2 weeks....there will be no "W" on Sunday.

they struggled agains 2 sub-500 teams....Pittsburgh is a respectable 9-3 w/ #1 Defense and a power ground game

You know I hate to say it but the Patriots defense needs some changes after this season. These guys are getting too old to play at this intense level for 4-quarters. We saw it last night as we did in last years AFC championship. They just seem to run out of gas and are too busy trying to catch their breath than to tackle. We need some young blood in that line.

Swami sez:

I predicted a tough game from the Eagles with Feeley playing instead of McNabb.

I predicted a tough game against the Ravens due to the pressure I knew their front 7 could bring.

I'm predicting that the real Patriots show up again this Sunday after two weeks of the fake ones.

Pats win big to sew up a first round bye--remember, this Steeler team lost to the J-E-T-S :yak6: not too long ago.

I don't want to put the evil eye on this game, but I think it's safe to say I called another one ;)

Next week against the Jets, Swami sez:

Cassell is taking snaps at the 8 minute mark of the third quarter after Brady hits 50 total TD passes for the year.
