Jim Rogers is Great to listen to but Kudlow, although very bright, likes to listen to himself talk and interrupts his guests too often..... to the point where I switch to Bloomberg when he's on.
JIM'S best line is "The fed is not here to bail out hedge funds".
With a possibility of a 50% rate cut coming next week, the market may "Pop" for a day or so and, in my opinion, drop shortly thereafter. the U.S. $$ will continue to set new lows and we will continue paying more for imports. I won't be vacationing overseas.

yup, that's what Alan Greenspan's done in the past, starting with LTCM's blowup in '98.

the thing that scares me is that something incremental has come out of the discussion.

if you think subprime mortgage defaults are a mess right now ...

CREDIT CARDS ARE NEXT.

i forgot to mention ...

unlike most talking heads on financial t.v. ...

kudlow is a real economist who makes informed calls (i used to get his research). that's why he's worth listening to.

He did again today on with Maria B....monopololized all the time so Ron Ansana couldn't get in his final thoughts...Maria did give Ron the last word...
I do give him credit for conquering the A/A Problem.
I think somehow he is still hoping to get a FED GOV. position.

Not to mention the white collar contrast shirts like he just got over a "Wall Street" bender and thinks his Gorden Gecko.
