I was listerning to weei this evening and they were giving Boston sports a bun ch of sheet.
I sent the following e-mail and Jt read it on the radio. It was cool.
JT,
I just had step up and address some of the comments I heard in the last hour on your show.
"Patriots fans feel hurt," give me a break. Baltimore is a bunch of whining criminals.
The Patriots were caught and punished. Their gonna take our draft pick, That's ok because we have two and the one we will keep is from the 49ers....another great and cheap player for the future. The rest of the leagues should be in awe of how much smarter and wiser the Pats franchise is than the rest of the league. Speaking of getting caught breaking rules and loosing a draft pick, that happened to the Dolphins in the pre season of '72. Isn't that a bit ironic?
Of course coach Bill and the Brady Bunch want to go undefeated. As a fan I would be very upset of anyone in the organization didn't want it. Undefeated should be the goal of every team. If other team's fans don;t like it, put the pressure on to make your team get better. Championship teams win the tough games and that is what we have seen in the last few weeks. Hey New York, Go Jets!!
Now on to religion. You were right a few months ago when you welcomed the Red Sox to the "out of control spending club" and the only reason Yankee fans are upset is that the Red Sox have learned to do it better. Once again Boston is proving to be smarter than the rest of the league.
Is anyone suprised. This is the education epicenter for the entire planet, Harvard, MIT, need I go on.
Next come the Celtics, they are already a top three team and should go deep in the playoffs. We are finally getting over the remnants of not one but two deaths of potential superstars. The Celtics are Back. Go Knicks!!
Yeah you got me when it comes to the Bruins, but as soon as we get rid of this out of town ownership they will get fixed quick.
So to all my friends in New York, remember, Boston owns the sports world. Do the research, see the numbers and get us some competition soon?
