Has any team ever had an undefeated "regular" season and lost in the playoffs??? I am guessing no?

I also do not believe the Pats will be the first....they are going to go.....all.....the.....way!!!

1940 undefeated in regular season also, but lost to redskins in championship game.
Cleveland Browns did the same in the late 1940s, but that was in the AFL
