couldn't have happened to a nicer girl. 22 yr old single mom who works with me just hit the mega millions for 250k, came in today with a copy of the check for 175k after taxes :) sick christmas gift!

But as I age, I now think she should party like a rock star, you're only 22 once, enjoy it while you're at your best. :buds:

oops didn't read the single mom part. Invest that $$ for the kids future. damn, single and 175k to play with would be a blast.

She's 22. Invest a $175K nut now, and she should do just fine with it by age 62.

Give me the same stake and 40 years to play, and I guarantee I'll do fine with it.

but...you said college for her 2 kids AND retirement. 175 invested wisely might cover college, but little left over for retirement
