I am looking for a good place to launch my Whaler on Cape Cod Bay. I hear there are BFT only as far as 1 mile out. Can anyone confirm this?

I have never fished CC Bay and could use some help from anyone familiar with the terrain. I am looking for a launch, as well as a few known tuna holes.

Two good ramps are Scituite Harbor or Green Harbor in Marshfield. The "footballs" are not very far off. Good striper and cod fishing too.
