It will be interesting see how the NFL handles not giving Belicheck the Coach of the year

Dear Mercury...

We're no longer just in your neighborhood. We're back out by the porch, banging your wife on the lawn.

Jan. 4 -- Comeback player of the year - Moss

Jan. 5 -- Most valuable player - Brady

Jan. 7 -- Defensive player of the year - Vrabel

Jan. 8 -- Offensive player of the year - Moss

Jan. 9 -- All-Pro team - we have how many Pro Bowlers, 8?

Jan. 12 -- Coach of the Year - Bellechick

Defensive Player of the year won't be Vrabel. And the Offensive player of the year will probably be Reggie Wayne....other than that its pretty accurate.

But I have this feeling that they won't give Belichek the Coach of the year because of Spygate.....they'll probably give it to Mike McCarthy or Wade Philips

I don't believe there is anyway that Vrabel wins defensive player of the year, I think DeMarcus Ware had a better season, but I am not 100% on if he should win it either as he had really some bad games. I don't think Moss will get multiple awards, although I believe he deserves multiple.

Bellechick should be coach of the year regardless of spygate, I think if he doesn't get 100% of the vote that is a travesty.

one of my major clients is in Wisconsin and they fully believe McCarthy will win coach of the year.

i would be interested to see who on this site thinks should be the MVP Moss or Brady. In NY/NJ the consensus is that Moss should be the MVP. Interested to see what the Pat fans think

Brady should win MVP hands down with Moss number 2! A new record "50" touchdowns and an undefeated season???? Its a no- brainer! I know....Moss broke the touchdown recieving record but Brady runs the team....he makes it happen! If Brady only threw for say....40 TD's and Moss broke the record I would say Moss deserves it!

i believe it should be Brady as well, but the argument I hear in this neck of the woods is that Moss really changed the dynamics of that team and makes everyone around him so much better.

I want to see how the voting falls out.

It's very simple--if MVP really means "most valuable":

Without Moss the Pats are 14-2.

Without Brady, they're 7-9.

I think Wes Welker had just as big of an impact on the Team as Moss....Welker had an unbelievable season, I bet Parcells wishes he had a guy like that in Miami :hihi:

Why do I get the feeling that Bob Sanders gets Def Player of the year.

Bingo....thats who I think is going to get it also
