OK, so I don't screw up and buy the wrong season plugs. What should I be using for the spring? Wooden ones preferably.

I like medium sized surface swimmers and have also done well over the years with medium sized bottleplugs in outflows that lead to herring runs. Then the standard 4-5" white Storm type rubba. Pt.Jude tins of many flavors are good too.Small size at the very beginning and then go big. fish4striper 01-09-2008, 08:10 AM As others said plugs that imitate squid or herring swanny 01-09-2008, 10:23 AM I know you said wood and people covered that pretty well but I will add to that a few point jude wobble heads with a pink 9" hogy or 10" fishstix is deadly when the squid are around.
