But I once had a full scholarship to Art School at the Worcester Museum of Fine Arts ( do they even have that program there anymore?)

This was a drawing I did for Riverview B&T in 1989 for there tide chart.

On the Iron of America, as we build this great land of ours.

Or the shores of NE, and the playgrounds of the NShore, as my daughter and I travel
within the shadows of our forefathers.

Nope, I took that pic with a throwaway kodak.

That was my bolt-up podnah for that job, Chappie, who makes some
kick-ass jellies from Maine's best blue, straw, and blackberries that
he hand selects each year from just the right patch, at just the right times  :uhuh: :uhuh: .

Thanks for trying, Skitter. Prolly gotta zip them or somethin'???

The last thing I drew was some illustrations for an article in OTW. It's a drawing of a bass swimming through rocks at the Elizabeths. Dang if I can't find that issue.

Lately I don't think I can draw a stick figure correctly.

I hope your right about those big bass George!

( Though mostly they will be mine but it would make a nice sketch of you on shore with your headlight going and you swearing away as you pick out the line caught in on itself after snapping off a needle you just made on your first cast with it!):kewl:

I remember that issue, because I really thought the drawing was awesome. I believe the caption said Bass swimming in the rocks at pasque. It was a October or November issue and Peros wrote the article

Start up again - you can make it whatever you like. Send a few off coupled with your best writing to Gray's Sporting Journal - they've been running saltwater stories more often. Very nice by the way...

Only a slight criticism, Flap, as I could never begin to touch yer talent....

The striper's eye looks more human or deerlike than fishy, is that what you were referring to? The rest of it looks GREAT!! Excellent attention to DETAIL, bro!

Bass have eyes that actually are the closest to mans in that they have rods and cone cells they look human some times. (Ever notice while unhooking a bass that he will follow your hands with his eye?) Some bulge, others recess some are oval some round. Eyes are one thing of anatomy that are actually hard to detail there are so many different forms even in fish.

A few of my friends went to school there. Great program. I spent a bunch of time there back in the 1960s. Great small museum and the school was very well respected.
