View Full Version : Spot Burning to the Nth degree!
parker23 01-17-2008, 10:47 AM Wow, I am fired up. It really ticks me off when in confidence you share a spot with a “friend”. A spot that I have been learning and studying for the past 7 years. During that time, I can count one hand the number of boats fishing in that area. Then last spring I called my “friend” to tell him I was on fish. Within a half hour several boats including a charter boat were fishing the spot. Boats that until that day never even looked at the spot ruined the entire spring.
Yesterday, I get several emails from my TRUE FRIENDS containing web address for a FishingTheOcean State TV show highlighting the “HONEY HOLE”.
I learned my lesson the hard way. Do not share your spots with your so-called friends.
Hopefully, this message saves one of you from making this mistake. Take your cherished spots to your grave.
I pray dear fish god that my "friend" will have an empty fish box for many seasons to come.
MrHunters 01-17-2008, 10:58 AM just know who your friends are i guess
i like sharing info but only with people i know, know the drill.
that sucks man.
Canalman 01-17-2008, 11:09 AM Been there before, well not to the TV show degree. I found a great spring spot, I let a few guys in on it and now it's ballooned out of control. And the funny thing is, they all call it "their" spot now, and some talk about how they've been fishing there for years and bla bla. I still sometimes think... man if I had only kept my F--ing mouth shut!
Live and learn....
parker23 01-17-2008, 11:16 AM Oops, my mailbox hust blew up. Guess I hit a NERVE!
Back Beach 01-17-2008, 11:30 AM Been there, done that. Its part of the game. I've learned not to claim any piece of water as my own because its likely, if not definite, that someone has fished it before you. Yes, you will benefit if you keep your pet spots quiet by not broadcasting them and drawing crowds, but over time I've benefitted from getting good info and I've shared good info in return.I've seen this situation play out countless times. Get over it, they're %$%$%$%$ing fish for god's sake.
Krispy 01-17-2008, 11:33 AM I bit my tongue so hard its swelling

Exactly....
Well first of all, bringing attention to it just makes it a self fufilling propecy...worst thing to do...As for calling out that Charter captain, that takes large nuts as that particular captain has many many years fishing that spot a heck of alot more that 7 acually x 4...As for the emails? well thsoe would most certainly be people that already know what they are seeing becasue they have fished there before...simple as that...anyone else would not have any clue and would be guessing.
It was a Tv show that included numerous spots, edited together over a couple days fishing...acually the spot in question sucked that day and the fish were caught 5 miles away from there...Many people can spot a 23 foot parker heading out of wickford towards the same place everyday, not hard to do...sooner or later those other boats will figure it out, that goes with fishing, to say all those boats are the result of one guy is ludicrus...
This laying claim stuff is plain stupid, if you know how to fish its easy to find tons of spots, there are so many productive spots that its crazy.
The same thing happened to Steve with his OTW surf show, the guy was just about hung..and for what? Nothing ever came of it and that spot did not get the pressure eveyone thought it would....there were many times after that that steve and I went there and were alone.
I have shared much with your friend Jonas, I see no one mentioning that...In fact it was acually him who told me first there were fish there because he felt he owed me one I never asked him, he offered it up, as clammer and I hooked him up with live bunker and he caught fish...But to say again, sooner or later we would have ended up there anyway..
Its also plain as day in the OTW shows as to where there fishing and catching, if you film a show you have to fish someplace..This is a subject that has been beaten to death"spot burning" Its gotton way out of hand as if everyone who fishes has a deed to certain areas...Most times you can lead a horse to water but cant make them drink, same goes for fishing....I have told many people where to go ....and it doesnt mean they had luck and know the when where and how...
While I was a guilty of this as anyone in the past(getting mad about spots) I have grown up and realized its an elementry school mentality, just plain childish in every way....Its so old and tired thats its now funny, I am not at all hard to find on the bay...very easy, cant "hide " a boat....its out there in plain site...I dont really care who knows what....its all boils down to the fisherman behind the rod, not the "spot" your in...Last year I pulled up to a spot with several boats tightly grouped...I pulled out a 47 pounder and motered away...those guys caught nothing...so much for being in the right "spot" there is so much more that goes into it...
In the end? its a damn fish....
Hey Bruce? correct me if I am wrong but didnt you acually Charter a certain Captain to learn where he fishes?? The same Captain you are reffering to here? Not that long ago either?

numbskull 01-17-2008, 12:52 PM Finding fish is the most satisfying part of fishing, catching them is the reward you get for the work (and learning) you did finding them. Descending on a spot someone else has identified and using the most effective method of fishing available gets results, but hardly equates with finding the fish on your own and catching them on your terms.
eelman 01-17-2008, 01:07 PM Finding fish is the most satisfying part of fishing, catching them is the reward you get for the work (and learning) you did finding them. Descending on a spot someone else has identified and using the most effective method of fishing available gets results, but hardly equates with finding the fish on your own and catching them on your terms.
Your right 100% correct...But it also shows that using the most effective method is sometimes prudent and also smart:bo:
The phiosphy of this me against the world stuff trying to force your will on fish just doesnt work...Unless a fisherman is after nothing but casting practice, the smart guys will usually at some point want results, and the wise fisherman gets results by using that which puts fish in the boat wheather that be plugs or bait ! After awhile the dude casting a plug to no avail starts to look like an idiot when cast after cast he gets nothing while everyone around him is hawking the doors off the fish using bait, all the while this guy trying to force his will on fish who want notrhing to do with his fake offering...thats just the way it is..Thats just ignorance and stupidity, a good fisherman should never close the door to what works..Unless like I said they just like casting practice and burning gass to watch sun rise...Fishing eventually involves catching a fish at some point...maybe I am wrong...Yes its rewarding finding fish on your own, the trick then becomes catching them..
To many people try to make these fish do what they want them to do...it will never happen...Hoever if someone pulls up to a spot I am in and I say "theres nothing here" and he tosses in a live bunker and pulls out a nice bass...I am the one who looks foolish...
Anyway, I have never, ever crammed anyones style, I dont fish peoples spots or horn in on what someone else has found...never have never will...If someone of my frinds tells me and invites me, thats a different story..And even then I usually dont because I have more confidence in my self than anyone else and would rather fish where my instinc tells me to..
Krispy 01-17-2008, 01:11 PM I just swallowed the tip of my tongue and burst a vessel in my eyeball.
I gotta disagree Backbeach. Spot burninga something you just don't do, burning a friend is plain F'd up. Whether u agree or not if it makes a difference there are unspoken rules btwn fishermen that should be respected.
telling most of the guys on this site anything to do with spots that are currently producing is like telling a registered sex offender the address to a group home for hot female teenage nymphomaniacs. Most will loose control and disregard any respect.
lessons i have learned over the years are simple-
1. Have a small core of friends to share info with that you KNOW you can trust. Respect the info they give you and hopefully they will reciprocate.
2. Dont brag online about catching lots of fish.. it will only bring attention to yourself.
3. Dont trust anyone who you know cant follow rules 1 and 2.
4. Dont trust anyone who you know is making $$ through fishing legitimately or illegally.
5. Dont trust anyone who you can tell fishes only to catch.. or in other words, trust those who fish simply for the love of fishing.
eelman 01-17-2008, 01:21 PM I think things are getting skewed here...To back up a bit, I dont know where this "friends" stuff comes from...Aqauntence at best, saw the guy on the water a few times....But I would not go anywhere to the point of saying friends? In that respect He may be talking about someone who is a close friend of his, I felt maybe it was Jim and I because of the show....I must have been wrong...because while I wish Parker23 no ill will etc....I am certainly not close or good friends with him by anymeans...A wave and a hello at the most? so he is refering to someone else...
As to spot burning, absolutley not, this was a filmed TV show with no mention of spots at all...we fished many different places as I said over the course of a couple days?? it makes no sense? The intention was to do a show fishing bunker , not to show spots, none where mentioned and none were filmed in such a way as to blatently show where they were? so the context here is way off base...
When OTW did the live eels show around the Elizabeths during the day, it was the same thing? I am sure there were people who recognized where they were fishing....Same situation here...No one knows the date the show was filmed, no one knows the tide we fished, no one knows the time of day we fished etc..For all you know we filmed that in 2006 not 2007....these shows air many many months after they were shot..
Our show has been on the air almost a year now...Its just as any other fishing show...So I dont think you can at all look at that show as a spot burning show at all, if you did then every single show that has fishing should be looked upon the same way! This show has been seen by many people on Cox 3, no one single bad thing has been said about it at all, there have been no backlashes of any kind, there has been no influx of boats at any of the areas we fished....in fact it has been the opisite! I cant explain it any better exept to say everyone needs to sit back and realize what this is, it was not an article on X marks the spot...It was an entertaining local television show meant just for that entertainment...I swear some people look desparatly for the stinger in the honey
He looked at it as a show directly pointing him out and burning his spot...It wasnt , it was a show where we fished multiple spots to come up with a half hour of good fishing...This thread is way off base and spot burning has nothing to do with it..Just because he notced a few seconds of a spot he knows in the show...the odds of that are good, I have certainly sen many shows that had places I fish or have fished in them? I have never taken it that personal...
Any resonable intelligent adult can see that..While this thread is going off the spot burning direction, it shouldent, it has nothing to do with that at all..
HESH2 01-17-2008, 01:24 PM spots get burnt all the time, just read otw thurs reports from the tackle shops or other publications, reports may be a week old but some are still on.found a spot friend told me about last month near his home and he was catching, went there and fished a few times then had a hard time finding a parking place.spot was burned bye alot of people.think back when frankie d published 100 best striper spots, alot of spot burning.but #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& says it like it is,you still gotta find the fish then catch them.most of the spots are already known.
RIJIMMY 01-17-2008, 01:29 PM Dont brag online about catching lots of fish.. it will only bring attention to yourself.
So true, I am the biggest sharpie out here and you'll all never know.

I think parker is more pissed that you capitalized off of his info and for what its worth i couldnt tell where you guys were at from watching the clip.
Its winter.. but this is a lesson to be learned. I remember you flying off the handle at me fishing with a friend 'in your cove'.. its all silly.
eastendlu 01-17-2008, 01:30 PM I know all of Timbers spots and i'm making maps with big X's on them.So you too can catch large just mail me a check for 1,000,000.00 Dollars and i'll send map priority mail.:gu::bl:

First of all eben, havent spoken to you in awhile,,,hope all is well!
To set the record straight please! I capalized on nothing! The fish I was told about was in early may..It was no big deal and I went a total of 2 times...It was with plugs and jigs..We filmed the show at the end of june for god sakes and we were using live bunker by then and catching fish litterly everywhere! I am doing my best here to explain this...That was but ONE stop of many stops that day simply because we already knew without being told that we had a chance of fish there anyway, I knew that long before I knew who parker23 was? I hope this makes it clear...We fished there for about 10 minutes that day and thats it, to put it another way, it would be as you told me that you were catching fish at french fry reef well I may go there and check it out but you yourself would already know I fish there anyway and sooner or later I am going to go there, and if I went two months after the fact that would hardly be capatalizing on what you eluded to a couple months earlier? Hopefully this makes it clear what I am saying...
Number two, I was on jimmys boat for that show, while we fished it was very casual, he would say "lets go try spot x" ok "I would say lets go to spot B NOW" Thats how it went, we simply fished areas we already knew had a track record..Its an extreme reach for him to think otherwise...Of course someone like Jim Knows the bay, does anyone think They have a secret spot Jim does not know about? The guy has made his living there for 20 years chartering? he knows every nook and crannie?
I really cant explain this any better exept to say its way off base the more I think about it and really has no bearing on anything other than a far reach at best
You know, I put that link up to let people see some fun fishing action, this board is exausting in the way it makes one have to defend everything, it really takes alot of me ....I put that up without any malice intended, it was already seen by 1000s of rhode Islanders on television...Maybe I am slow, but I dont feel that I have to scrutinize everything I put up to this level...Its insane, it really is...what the heck have you all got here anyway? its nothing but constant " I can bring so and so down" its relentless and I think its loaded with paranoia...I try to come back from time to time but to no avail, attacks come from left field at times...This is just unreal and childish..I dont know any other way to defend this than I already have.
Besides, you large vessel could run me over anytime, you should be blowing me away with that huge rig...My little toy is no match...
eastendlu 01-17-2008, 02:03 PM I enjoyed those clips and appriciate that you shared them and thank you for it.All these spots were fished long before we were ever here and the fish don't care.

It sux P23 but I think most fishermen have been burned before. Your case is extreme as it was on TV burned by some Hollywoods but its best to know early on how friends treat you, the spot was important to you and that's where thbe disrespect hurts. Not whether its been successful for other people
decksweeper 01-17-2008, 02:10 PM Bill's been nothing but helpful to me in the past, and I don't even know him. I've got a number of questions about fishing bunker in the bay and by watching, some were answered, so thanks for putting that up there.
What's funny is Bills threads always get so much action, because people want to know what he's saying...cuz he knows...

You know what? it will be you who has this thread pulled so I wont be baited into this...thats why its edited..Ignoring you is the best thing to do...This is your MO..Get me into a pissing match...well I thought the better of it..So if you have already copied what I said...thats fine but hopefully this thread does not get yanked because you re-post it...
you dont even know whats going on here
Sea Dangles 01-17-2008, 02:18 PM Thanks Bill for sharing your bunker technique with us. Although I don't fish the bay I will try it in some of the spots up here in Mass.P 23, good job pulling the pin and putting it in your pocket!!!

I do agree with that statement.
My point is what comes around goes around. Sometimes you're the provider of the info, sometimes you're the recipient.Sometimes neither. Obviously some info should never be passed on to strangers or to people who don't reciprocate. When people lay claim to a spot and declare ownership it makes me laugh though. The pilgrims would be bull%$%$%$%$ if they knew this stuff was happening.
"Don't tell anyone about this rock!"
ThrowingTimber 01-17-2008, 02:32 PM The pilgrims would be bull%$%$%$%$ if they knew this stuff was happening.
:rotflmao: Thats a good one :bl2:
Saltheart 01-17-2008, 03:10 PM I understand Parker 23's feelings but experience has taught me that its your own fault for telling someone. If they repeat something you told them , the bottom line is that its was your own fault for talking about it in the first place.
The flip side is that there really are no "secret spots around here. Its a small state and many people know "all the spots". What people most often don't know is when a spot is hot. So while I don't get major heart burn when someone names a spot , I do get a little miffed when they blab it right when its still hot.
Talking about spots with friends is way different than talking spots on the internet. If mouth to mouth blabbing gets the message to 10 people in a month , the internet is more like 1000 people in a night. To me , you need to protect the spots access from the 1000's. The fish come and go. What's hot today is cold tomorrow but once access is denied to a spot by private property owners who are pissed because suddenly there are 50 people in their backyard instead of 5 , that access usually never gets restored. The shear numbers involved on the internet make spot burning here way more damaging than talking mouth to mouth amongst friends.
Lastly , I want to say that good friends are more important than good fishing spots. Do learn to keep your own mouth shut but don't get too angry at a frined who has blabbed about a spot. Its not worth it.

Mike I would agree with what your saying execpt, nobody told me anything?? thats the point I have tried to make?? He certainly didnt put me on that spot.....So it wasnt a matter of him telling me anything? the whole thing is useless...I would almost go as far as saying the more I read it that he is fabracating the whole thing? All that was ever said to me was "hey there are some fish at so and so" Big deal, thats all it was...Funny part was I never asked him for it and it wasnt even him who told me that?? Its a spot I fish on a regular basis anyway..As far as I am concerned I can whatever I want even though I didnt...It was tv SHOW ????????
Wow..
Tagger 01-17-2008, 03:23 PM All my spots are dried up and barren of any fish .. I like my spots ... nobody burns them ..
Goose 01-17-2008, 03:26 PM tv shows/internet....Thats just out right ignorance telling people where you are, especially if you been around. I know they know better but I believe they said "F%#@ it'' as long as we are liked by most who cares if we screw the few locals. You would think they learned something from OTW or even Charlie Moore, as much as people dislike the show around here you would think they would of learned something in that respect. Bill do you remember when you posted a whole thing about Galilee then you deleated it? people never forget that...not cool.

Your first sentence misses the point tony..We never told anyone where we were..... How can I make that more clear...I think you should go back and read a few of my earlier posts on this before making judgements...Never said where we were the whole show...By the way I am a local also. I live here and fish here

RIJIMMY 01-17-2008, 03:38 PM Just my 2 cents -
Knowing P23 as a friend, he takes a lot of pride in his fishing and spent a lot of time researching a given area. He spent a lot of time there, when, at least in my opnion, its not the "hottest" spot in the ocean and I would have given up on it ages ago. His patience and his hunch eventually payed off, after YEARS of fsihing it. He shared that information and maybe it was coincdnece, maybe it was just the sharing of information - there were definietly more boats there last year in the areas he had haunted previosly.
MAny of us have put our time in and found areas and stuck with them, could you imagine seeing them on a tv show!?! I dont think there was any malevolance from EM, but the frustration with the increased boat traffic and the tv show would be shared by most. My fear is that the spring run will turn into the late summer bluefsih absurdity, with 30 boats on a school.

Just one question, for each of you.
If I agree with you Bill, then does that mean that you'll divulge the right winds, tides, times, and GPS #'s of Area A :read: :read:?
The effin pilgrims can effff offf, Parker23! How do you think the Conanicut and the Algonquit Tribes feel about YOU claiming their God given waters  :jester: ?
Eben's Rules of Discovery work well.
The Iron One once told me when I asked him about giving out "honeycove" info to one of the cats I had met online <<<<<ova there.
He said, "Jess, how do you think we keep landing our trophies? We don't tell anyone but the three or four of us. Is this guy yer brother/best friend? If he isn't he will tell his friends, and they will tell their friends, and so on and so on and so on and yer LAHHHHGE will disappear..........."

Bill, you're trying to argue your way out of a box here. If you're going to be on TV catching fish, posting pics of fish etc, etc, etc... people are going to take pot shots be they good or bad. There's really no winning, which is why most celebs pretty much have to ignore what goes on in the news or they'd go insane.

Jimmy White, Just told me "If I complained over 30 years about the amount of guys I saw give up my spots or that were in my spots over that time frame and cahrged 10 cents every time it happened , he would be living in costa rica right now sipping mahrgaritas and catching sailfish all day"
His point? Get over it...It didnt hurt him and it wont hurt you...
Jimmy has done several Narragansett bay shows which aired on ESPN...At all the above mentioned spots...No ramifacations and he makes his money chartering! thats his full time job! pays the bills! if he isnt worried none of you should be...Get over it
Goose 01-17-2008, 03:47 PM Your gonna have to get used to being a celebrity, listening to Charlie Soars say how much people wanna kill him and many other guys like him for that matter. Its funny how people Pm me or call me from far away places to tell me where and what time and what bait, you get the picture not that I care because truth is I don't but you get the picture.
Saltheart 01-17-2008, 03:53 PM I have no idea who told who , etc in this particular case. . I do know Bill that you , like me , don't need anyone to show them fishing spots in RI. Once you have put in enough time to know the entire coast , there simply are no more secret spots.
BTW , I remember when you and I rattled off some 60 , 70 or whatever number of spots all across the state from Naps to Little Compton one offseason when this site first started.
Anyway , I am sure that not even all the fishing spots put together is worth losing a friend over.

Well its still just a fish, and acually all this controversy does nothing but help me, Tim Coleman once said to me..."Doesnt matter good or bad, the point is there talking" And just like you I really dont care at all, I am still gonna do what I want when I want and catch fish simple as that.......and I am sure this will just add to the view of the shows!

Acually he did coin the nickname, but Naps was all on my own! I am sure he didnt like that but again thats the game...and the rest is history...:hihi:
fishaholic18 01-17-2008, 04:41 PM Much of the problem is that there are only so many spots, if you fish enough, you are bound to fish on someone else's...so called spot. First of..No one owns a SPOT...This land is OUR land, we all have the right to fish where ever we want to.. I fish hundreds of different spots and have been for probably 25 years, boat and shore..Are they all my SPOTS..NO!...Do I get pissed when I see someone else fishing it...Not really..I may just pass it up and come back to it when it's less crowded..Bruce, the spot I think you speak of (haven't seen the show yet) is a spot I fished 20 years ago..Do I claim it to be my spot? NO, I'm sure many others have fished it way b4 I did. Who cares who is fishing what spot, fish have fins...It's more so about the fisherman who can trick the fish, not so much the SPOT. I got over the Spot thing along time ago, now I just like to respect another's space and hope everyone does the same for me. Just my opinion on the whole Spot thing.
fishaholic18 01-17-2008, 04:43 PM When you see your bud in your spot with someone eles,,it feels almost as bad as when you catch your wife cheating on you .. You can get another wife .. good fishing spots are hard to come by ..

spence 01-17-2008, 05:42 PM As an aside, I actually took the time to watch the videos of #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& live lining pogies that are causing all the fuss.
I've never actually live lined a live bunker from a boat before, and was more than a bit unimpressed by the technique.
Seems more like a novelty than fishing.
You're snagging bunker in so thick a treble zipped through the water will produce over and over again. If you get thirsty, there's a vending machine on the dock about 20 yards away.
You motor to the GPS coordinates Parker's "friend" emailed you that morning.
Then you drop it in the water (or if you're an old salt give it a toss) and let it swim around for a while.
Eventually, a bass who's probably starving (because all the bunker she'd like to have eaten are already in your live well) is tricked (suckered really) into the take about 10-20 feet from your boat. It must be what, a full dozen or two cranks of the reel to bring her boatside?
And this is a sport?

jkjnp 01-17-2008, 06:02 PM I have shared much with your friend Jonas, I see no one mentioning that...In fact it was acually him who told me first there were fish there because he felt he owed me one I never asked him, he offered it up, as clammer and I hooked him up with live bunker and he caught fish...But to say again, sooner or later we would have ended up there anyway..
How does a guy who only has 40+ posts and is more lurker than anything on this site end up getting thrown in the middle of this?
I have only a couple of things to say-- I certainly have a lot of respect for #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, Clammer, Jim White, and anyone who else who has put as many hours on the bay as they have. Any advice, info they are willing to pass onto me I welcome with open arms. While I do not know many of you guys I would be excited to establish friendships/fish with any and all of you.
I also consider Parker23 a good friend and have gotten to know him over the past two summers--so I can certainly understand his reaction--and I initially had the same one.
However, I can also see the other side--a spot is only a spot. It takes good conditions, the right bait and timing to have an epic day like the one in the video. In this particular case I think the number of people who are able to recognize those spots from the video are relatively few.
The number of people who have access by boat even fewer.
The number of people who will take the time to find the pogies and fish the spot at the right time even fewer.
I could not be where I am today as a fisherman in RI (I have a LONG way to go) without the helping hands of #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, Clammer, or Parker23 and I am grateful.

Jonas! I am sorry for bringing you into to this, I only wanted to say what happened and the truth is what I said..Your a great guy and if I did not think so You would know it...I apreciate your honesty here and you know or should know I am always willing to help you if you need it...What I said was not personall just clearing the air as to what went down...
Acually when you first saw clammer and I , you kind of ended up doing well in that spot this year...however, you never saw us there again! it just shows that fish swim and move and its ok to fish other places and I am certain you told Bruce about it thats natural, also you posted a picture here with your wife who caught fish, I knew EXACTLY where you were , did I make a fuss? and accuse you of anything? Nope....because it dosent matter at all...Anyway, sorry for dragging you in but the truth is the truth..On this one bruce is way way over the top...
Plus you guys have larger, faster boats than me..its easy for you to muscle me right out!:jester:

don't trust anyone
- especially someone who is celebrity. Once someone reaches rockstar status, they maintain it at all costs, even if doing so is immorral and down right underhanded. The price of being a hero is steep and the casualties are many. You got caught by the wrong guy and it hurts, suck it up and learn from your mistake. Once again-

Are you serious? What a crappy way to live. I really hope you're kidding, because that must be a tough way to live...
I'd rather believe that people are good and get burned every once in a while than live life not trusting anyone.

The sad part is he isnt...its way out of line and what he said again in the right eyes speaks for itself...I am nothing of what he says....no way not at all...but hey, I get tired of defending it...Never have I burned anyone in my fishing life never! I am sure at least some will agree with that...Incredible , I dont even know this guy and he make assumptions...anyway, to me its like everything else...it REAKS of jealousy...I cannot state enough how upset that gets me....I never burned anyone anytime anyplace...just not my style..I have always found my own fish and I am proud of it...
I cant fathom what this post has become! its madness, I posted a tv show that was already seen by many, simply for enjoyment for the people here who may not have seen it...and it turns to this..I have no words...
Look, I wont lie, I think I paid my dues, I caught the fish I say I caught, I am proud of it...2 50s and a 60 is something I am very proud of....I never said I was a "celebrity" never...My seminars were and are always humble, I give the most info I can to help people in an honest way...I realize some like me and some hate me thats the way it is and I understand that but to post complete lies? that goes over the line
anyway I am out of ways to defend myself here...what more can I say

I trust a select few people in my life, not the general public. I am a pessimist by nature, so I do not give up anything until I am 1000% positive it will not come back to bite me in the a$$. Too often people prey upon their peers for their own benefit. It happens every day, just not to me. Let me get to know you for the person you are, let me trust you, and I will give you all I have. If you get down to the numbers, I am willing to bet the majority people you meet in life would sell you down the river if it meant they would benefit from it.
anyway I am out of ways to defend myself here...what more can I say

Krispy 01-17-2008, 09:13 PM I do agree with that statement.

Mike,
What about " I Hate #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&" T shirts? Would that be taking advantage of a friend? I think Bill`s head on a eel body would sell with a fat menhaden overlayed.
Its all words typed on the Internet so I don`t really know the truth either way. Its been entertaining but life goes on.
Happy New Year All :tooth:
