Seems Leo, his kids, Arnold and a bunch of others were out at Peaked Hill. It was daytime and they could see bass on the outer bar but nothing they threw would get them to hit. There were squid in the water and the bass were eating them. Leo runs to his buggy, finds the mahogany handbrush, cuts the handle off that was shaped sort of like a squid. Put a screw eye in it and fires off a cast. Bass all over it. He goes back to the buggy more screw eyes and some hooks. Back into the water it goes. Bang! he's on and somehow the word gets out. Laine and another fellow take a clear amber Atom, cut the lip off and rig it backwards and bingo, the Reverse Atom is born. The mahogany plug is a fish catcher and no doubt that one will be too! Nice work! justplugit 01-24-2008, 01:39 PM Nice, Fred. :btu: It would be a crime to paint that one. eastendlu 01-24-2008, 01:39 PM Nice plug Fred and great story Flap.:thanks::pop: numbskull 01-24-2008, 01:41 PM Got a Gucci surf bag to carry it in? Backbeach Jake 01-25-2008, 05:31 PM That was pretty much my thinking, Tagger. 3 1/2 oz. without hooks. 8 1/2 inches. I have this spot where, if you get the distance, you'll get fish, seals or boats. NIB 01-27-2008, 01:22 PM If u want em to fly make em smaller an the same weight.I make some long casters That are just under 7" an 3 or better oz's..
