before and after...
View Full Version : last years plugfest plug... Diggin Jiggin 01-27-2008, 03:57 PM before and after... Diggin Jiggin 01-27-2008, 04:00 PM That yellow one took a ridiculous number of fish. It was the first plug out of the bag every day that I stayed thru dawn. Can't believe I never lost it... And some replacements... There are 8 " right around 3 oz... GattaFish 01-27-2008, 05:00 PM You fished the snot out of those plugs,,,, firemiked 01-27-2008, 05:02 PM That's an interesting look with the flat edge. Does it change the action much? onecastmike2003 01-27-2008, 05:15 PM AH has a new plug just like it.. you'll see them at the show. numbskull 01-27-2008, 05:46 PM Always like seeing plugs that have proven themselves. Did you pull the wire to refinish it.........or because you forgot how you weighted it? Diggin Jiggin 01-27-2008, 07:00 PM I just needed to see what I had used for a tail weight. Usually I put one of every new shape I make aside and hang it in the rack with the weights it used, but I forgot to on these. That yellow one will go into the rack for reference... It is kind of interesting to see how you tweak a design from year to year. The new ones for this year have a little more meat to them and have a little larger flat plane on the belly than the originals did. numbskull 01-27-2008, 07:17 PM Same happens to me. I need to make myself take notes. Threw away a prototype needle that was working well last year. Thought it would be easy to replicate, but I'm now on my third try and it still isn't right. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
