My wife tells me she is going to a meeting the other day. What kind of meeting I ask? She says..."Hookers and Strippers"...:confused:Really?! can I come too? No it is not that kind of hooker. Rug Hooking she says

Anyway, she has been making pillows and small rugs for a while now but she just started a much larger rug and it has a striper theme. She showed me the work in progress (below). She said it will take a few more months before she is complete. I will post a final photo when it is done.

Gee, my 80 year old mother did one for me as a present for 06 xmas. I should take a pic and post it. Only problem is it is of a fresh water bass, but she did a great job. Yours looks freehand right, following no pattern just designing as she goes. Its huge. Tremendous amount of work left there.

I knew that would get your attn (but that is what it is called).....I noticed the moderators were the first to reply. JohnR must have upped their pay:hee:.

It looks better in person and I have the perfect spot for it when it is done. (I am going to frame it an wall mount it in the rec room)

It is her original design and she drew it freehand. I know she wants to get it done to enter it in the MV fair this summer. (lots of hookers there:hee:) I acted as a "lure consultant" when she started looking at my plug bag for ideas.

Yes, the entire area will be filled in.

It's finished!
Took about 6 months. She worked on in while I was out fishing most of the time and over vacation in the evenings.

Here are a couple photos of the status when on vacation and as of today (completion day).

It will be entered in the fair this coming week.

Very nice, looks like your 'Gonzo' on the lower corner.

If the judges are fisherman, that'll win it for sure.
