You already know what I think.

I don't see how you couldn't give the Pats a great shot of getting back.

It will be interesting though to see how the other teams adjust before next season. There was some good game out there in the playoffs.

Just off the top of my head---the team that plays in the AFC east has a much better chance of getting back there than the one that plays in the NFC east. You win your division--you're in the playoffs. If you go 11-5 or 10-6 and don't win your division--maybe you don't get a wild card.

Who will win the AFC east next year? That's a no brainer. Do you really think that the "mangenius" is going to get smart again after 4-12? Or that Parcells is going to turn the Fish into contenders in one off-season? Are the Bills going to get from 8-8 to 14-2 with J.P. Loesman?

Who will win the NFC east, after the Cowboys and Redskins--both playoff teams this year--improve themselves? And don't forget that the Eagles were 8-8, too.

Obviously the Pats will be highly favored again.
The Colts will be right there with them!
I'll be hoping for 8-8 for my Raiders and they get Mcfadden in the draft.

ANYTHING, ANY 2 TEAMS

that prevents a Manning vs Manning Super Bowl!!!! :wall:   :wall:

I would throw my TV off of my balcony should we be faced with that scenario.

The regular season is good theater for them and it is entertaining in that context. I think that the next match up will have Eli puttin' the smack down on Peytie. He definitely handles the pressure better and won his Lombardi faster and within his first shot at the post season, as well!

Nicely Done, GIANTS!

Well, if next year's schedule that was printed in the Globe today is correct, you guys are off to a good start. Home and home divisional games against rivals who were a combined 13-35. Your non-divisional games? Ypu get two of the worst divisions in football, the two wests. You get the Cardinals and Rams from the NFC at home, and the Niners and Seahawks away. You get Denver and the Chiefs at home, Oakland and the Chargers away. And finally, Pittsburgh at home--where you own them--and the Colts--again--at Indy.

I can't see 3 losses there. At worst, a split between SD and Indy and one trap game somewhere.

The Giants? Not too bad, once they get out of the division. They get the NFC west and AFC North, plus Minnesota and Carolina. Niners. Seahawks, Ravens, Bengals and Carolina at home, Rams, Cardinals, Browns, Steelers and Vikes away.

Pats in 2008
Home games
Bills
Broncos
Cardinals
Chiefs
Dolphins
Jets
Rams
Steelers

Road games
Bills
Chargers
Colts
Dolphins
49ers
Jets
Raiders
Seahawks

Indy on the road again. As well as four west coast trips, one of which I'll almost guarantee to be a Monday night game..One home game against a playoff team and three road games against playoff teams.

bolts would have beaten pats if lt was healthy and they did'nt have to settle for the field goals.that game made me think my giants would win.patroits may make it back to super bowls but they will take their lumps along the way.giants in nfc will have a tougher time.

I posted before I watched the game replay on NFL Network. You can talk about your O-line being overmeatched, but except for Thomas, your linebacker corps also blew. I didn't see Vrabel make a single big play. Seau was consistently trap blocked all night, and Bruschi looked old and slow. He was flattened once by Jacobs, and was slow getting to the hole play after play. Ankle tackles don't bring down guys like Jacobs and Bradshaw.

Fast closing pursuit and effective blitzing is critical when you play a 3-4 defense. You need immediate help at LB

4 Super Bowls appearances in 7 years Record of 3-1 What have the bolts been up to. They have been watching the big game on their tvs just like me lol. I bet Jim Kelly would have loved to have those numbers in the 90's.
