Gonna give this one another bump and tell you guys that if you have this Saturday free, get your butt up to Plum Island Surfcasters Show! Speakers this year are Steve Papows.....Steve is one of the most knowledgeable pluggers around and a top notch fisherman! You are sure to learn alot from Steve. Also speaking is Tony Stetzko.....if you don't learn anything from the catcher of the largest surf caught bass in Mass. history then you ain't listening! Some of the other folks on hand will be the Point Jude Lures boys Joe and Jeff, Mr. Bugger himself #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& will be there with his wonderful wood and BigFish Bait Co. will also be there with some plug bag goodies! Maybe The Dad Fisherman can give us any details I might have missed but I did this show last year and it was an absolute blast! Proceeds from the show go to the Plum Island Surfcasters juniors program so come out and help support a great cause and enjoy the day!

Sidenote: I highly recommend the chowder!:tooth:

You pretty much nailed it.....Its a great time and a good way to shake off the cobwebs. The Chowdah is always good and there may be some chilli added to the mix this year for the Dogs. The raffle table is huge, seriously....takes about 45 minutes total to get through all that stuff.....

I've seen both Steve and Tony doing presentations before and they do a top notch job.

Just to be clear...the proceeds go to the Juniors program and the Club too. the juniors program sees a good portion but it also helps the club run. also all of the proceeds from the Kitchen go to the Juniors program and there will be a Rod/Reel raffle that all the proceeds go to the Juniors Program, A lamiglass Tri-flex w/ a Penn reel.

Hope to see a lot of you guys make it...

Bob - people usually start to thin out around 1-2 p.m. and by 3 p.m. most are gone as Kevin will be manning the clean up duty :scream:
