After downloading the disc (microsoft word 2000) I then needed to register in order to begin useing the program. It then asks me for the 25 character cd key which is in the back of the jewel case...lol... the problem is I have no case. I now try to access my written documents and now there a big W over the heading not allowing me to veiw them until I register the 25 chartacter keys ..Where do I get it and can any #'s and letters work? thanks

There are websites that list old configuration keys for various software applications. It wouldn't exactly be legal of course :hidin:

there as easy as knowing where to look

sometimes you download a key generator

but most times they are listed

even on google (first place to look)

also : occasionally all 2"s does the trick

otherwise you look on

astalavista.com :btu:

I could give you a # for O97 :hihi: but the generic numbers don't work anymore

Seriously - get OpenOffice - does 95% of what Word does :btu:

Yes JR, what an awsome thing OpenOffice is, I'm hooked. It has more then I'll ever need. Thanks Mikeycc .
Gill you know that I'm not shy, I meant to ask you about that the last time we spoke. That's a killer read I wish I write like that. I have a book exchange program and you don't even need a library card;)
