I am glad when the fish come back so i can get the hell away from it for a while. By then I have had enough. Nice job on the plugs wahlie 02-11-2008, 04:02 PM Prof M, I hear ya.... I've been going heavy for about 2 weeks but it keeps me busy... Or I should say, it prevents me from doing house stuff that my wife wants me to do. Was great to meet you this weekend. -Chris Biteme 02-11-2008, 04:08 PM That black and gold is awesome :kewl: Great job The Dad Fisherman 02-11-2008, 04:20 PM Those are awesome....how'd you do the Marblizing on the blue ones? Flaptail 02-11-2008, 04:57 PM Very nice! I am a sucker for blue swirl. wahlie 02-11-2008, 05:01 PM Going to try to make it to plugfest this weekend. I've got a wedding of a very distant friend. Trying to convince the wife to back out ;) we'll see if it goes over but I'd love to meet some of the guys on the board and swap some plugs. I'm going to do a batch of swirlies up this week. Tagger 02-11-2008, 05:40 PM Mint !!! .. like them all .. Creepy big eye yellow bastadge is calling me .. We don't get enough Musso talk on here ... maybe you can fill the void .. I know he turned for Pichney at one time .. Are those hardwood swimmers ?? Is Musso partial to hardwood .. numbskull 02-11-2008, 08:39 PM Very sweet. I just turned 1/2 dozen very similar swimmers. Moved the tail weight back a shade and turned them narrower than the originals. Cast like a bullet and swim better than a danny at slow speeds. Very promising plug. Been asking myself why I didn't go this route years ago. Tagger 02-11-2008, 09:08 PM Very sweet. I just turned 1/2 dozen very similar swimmers. No. The originals are usually pine (pretty sure), though he did make a "maple" , but I was freelancing and used AYC to get a denser/heavier plug. I'll show you at the plugfest. Got some xrays as well. wahlie 02-11-2008, 09:28 PM The original were made out of pine I believe. I know these are pine. Hope this helps NIB 02-12-2008, 05:49 AM Very nice, my favorite plug shape..
