I just got A Tatoo's everlasting eel at the SWE show. Has anyone used this?It would be nice to use an eel that doesnt get shredded by blues every ten minutes.
View Full Version : Everlasting Eel anyone...anyone? BillM 02-11-2008, 05:22 PM I just got A Tatoo's everlasting eel at the SWE show. BillM 02-11-2008, 06:26 PM THanks Flaptail. I got the 1.5 oz. - black with purple, since my black Sluggos always get whacked at night. It's a floater with a tin lip so I was wondering what conditios it is best suited for? Clogston29 02-11-2008, 09:12 PM i've had most of my success with them on calm nights. the light green/silver/white has saved a few calm full moon nights when nothing else will work spence 02-11-2008, 09:21 PM The small ones don't cast all that well so I'd think calmer would be better...very nice action though. -spence plankton 02-11-2008, 09:38 PM I got a olive over yellow one a while back and I actually was just test swimming it yesterday, that is until the impromptu blizzard struck. It swims really nice, looks like an eel, and actually it casts better then I thought a 1.5 oz. jointed plug would. Seems like it will work well in fairly calm water and I'm sure it will catch fish! NIGHT STRIKES 02-11-2008, 10:42 PM Great lures to troll off the back of a kayak ;) Gunpowder 02-11-2008, 10:49 PM good point NS.... that sounds like a great idea... nice and slowwwwww BillM 02-12-2008, 07:09 AM I never fished from a kayak but I just got a used one and planned to try it out this spring. It doent have a rod holder yet or a spray fly. Should be fun though. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
