example: I went to the stire to get candy.
supposed to read: I went to the store...
Not all the time but sometimes when I go to fix the problem of replacing the letter 'i' with the an letter 'o' it makes the follow letter disappear. Typing in word will eventually make the next word disappear. What causes that? Did I touch something, how do I fix it?

from microsoft word help......
Overtype
Why is the text disappearing as I type?
By default, any new text you enter in the middle of a line is inserted between existing text. If existing text disappears as you type, Overtype mode may be turned on. On the Tools menu, click Options, click the Edit tab, and then clear the Overtype mode check box.
You can also double-click OVR on the status bar to turn overtype on or off.

is to just use microsoft notepad instead of MS word
because it doesn't have all those built in features
that microsoft word has.

start --> run --> notepad
Right on Raven, I cut and paste to '.txt' files all day.

I was always wondering that too.
