Rockfish9 02-18-2008, 09:16 AM You didnt waste anytime!!!! I didnt unpack my truck until nonntime yesterday.... and that was only after reassembeling my shop, which looked like the Gazza strip... When I first tried it and show it to Orlando, he wanted to dip everything in my garage into a bucket of water. -Chris Goo Goo, thanks for the kind words. I'll pass it along to Orlando as he isn't on here. johnny ducketts 02-18-2008, 10:29 PM yeah, this is fun, now, I just gotta prime and dip a few more, I'm liking the color selection I'm finding in the testors paint. outnumbered 02-19-2008, 08:41 PM Here is my first try at my newly learned talent. Actually did this 5 minutes after I got home from Plugfest couldn't wait. So easy even my wife could do it. good2hook 02-19-2008, 09:13 PM that came out great. nice work. johnny ducketts 02-19-2008, 09:27 PM nice stuff, It's wicked easy, hell for the first time I didn't get paint everywhere Finatic 02-19-2008, 09:30 PM Just wait until you guys get epoxy on those swrillies. They are really going to stand out. Great colors. :wid: ProfessorM 02-20-2008, 10:40 AM Look at all the colors. Haight-Asbury style. Dr.fish 02-20-2008, 12:05 PM That second plug looks more like Woodstock style...Ya, lots of you guys only heard about that:rotf3: Like the colors..post after epoxy...should be real sweet. Ed, I had to leave early...you told me a while back how to do it, but never tried. I've gotta get you in my mini cave for a private tutoring.:kewl: wahlie 02-20-2008, 02:33 PM Nice, it's a very easy technique to get the hang of and then you can add your own little experiments into the mix. That's how I found out that spray cans work better then the testors bottles if you don't want the plug to get too heavy of a marbelized coating. outnumbered 02-22-2008, 02:44 PM Dr fish I am thinking of palying a little Jefferson Airplane, Joplin or Hendrix while I epoxy to see if I can bring back any memories from then. I'll post picts when done. Surf Hunter 02-22-2008, 04:19 PM Love dip marbleizing, well, Shannon does, she is the one with the art degree, here are a coupe of chunky poppers she made. They really do explode once you put the final epoxy on. http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripertalk/attachment.php?attachmentid=21098&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1176408658 stripercrazy 02-22-2008, 06:05 PM tom, those are wild:grins: vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
