I have an 18 center console and want to upgrade my $80 dollar Fishfinder. Been looking at the Raymarine A60 Fishfinder/GPS they just lowered the price to compete with lowrance and garmin in the small boat class. Has anyone used the A60 or others in that class? I am trying to keep the cost around $700. Thx

I have the RM DS 500X for a fish finder and I love it. Not real sure about their GPS. I have a Garmin. I personally prefer separate units.

Garmin 188c. Came with boat. It performed fine, until last week of October, when it was getting shut down when transmitting over VHF. Could be wiring problem, not unit.

I have the DS600X digital,, great unit. Got it through Post Marine on ebay. Great dealer. I think its over 7 bills though..unless its come down, that included the airmar ducer too.

And I agree with separate units, that way at least one will be working if there is some problem...

Pulled the trigger and picked up the A60 today. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the info.
