I thought he looked good when he showed up in camp today?

For a guy that looks like he is pushing 350 pounds!:hihi: What the hell are the Sox thinking? The guy was not walking, he was waddling!!:tm:

i'll give Theo the benefit of the doubt on this one................

only time will tell whether he can help us or hurt us this year. coming off of an injury gives me cause for concern, but Theo and his people must've seen something they like??? i just hope they didn't use the same rosy-colored glasses they looked at GAG knee with:hihi::hihi:

They signed Colon to a Minor-league deal....why not take a chance and see what he's got.....He did win a Cy Young a couple of years ago. Its not like they are plugging him into the #3 spot......they're just giving it a chance to see what he still has.

Granted he'll have to lay off the Little Debbies for awhile...

I was being sarcastic NIB.......can't believe they signed that tub of lard! Doesn't look like he can roll a baseball let alone throw one!

I agree, as ludicrous as it is, 1.2 is chump change if he can contribute anything.
Hell, David Wells was half way decent and he looked more out of shape than Colon...

I will give you 1.2 million dollars if Colon can even bend over and touch his toes! If he can't do that, how the hell is he going to field his position?

My point exactly, short money for someone of his caliber.

Question is, "Does he have any bullets left in the tank" if i may borrow from Petey :agree: ?!!?
