I haven't seen any chipmunks yet, but I suspect they might be around. I noticed something small burrowed a hole under my cabana in the last couple of days. But, I definitely noticed another sure sign of spring on Tuesday. As I was driving home from work in the rain, I saw a couple of frogs hopping across my road. It happens every year when we get a couple of warm days in a row with some rain thrown in the mix. Keep an eye out for decay snakes in piles of leaves or in the woods. I usually see a couple when I start my spring cleanup in the yard, and they usually appear well before the garter snakes. Slingah 03-06-2008, 11:53 AM yup....Ive seen chipmunks...and a pair of fiesty red squirrels today ProfessorM 03-06-2008, 12:54 PM Buzzards too. They ate some of my anchor rode, chewed a hole in a life jacket and made a nest of a roll of TP. I also found a nest, made of TP, under the motor shroud of my 15HP Kicker. The shroud was tught so I still can't figure out how the got in there. I had to remove the matress in the v-berth to clean up a pee stain. Acorns all over the place. Fall of 2006 I put the boat to bed loaded with moth balls. No chipmunks in the spring but stink. This last fall I used bounce fabric softner sheets. I was told that would work. We'll see. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
