JohnR 03-22-2008, 09:25 AM That's cool :btu: Clogston29 03-22-2008, 09:34 AM nice. i figured they'd come up with that pretty soon. all the information required for it is available on the Mass GIS site and, if you know AutoCAD map or any GIS mapping software, you've been able to pretty easily assemble maps like that for a while now. This is much easier though. Here's the link to all the info available on Mass GIS. http://www.mass.gov/mgis/laylist.htm If you take the time to figure out how to use it, it is very helpful for lots of stuff. For basic stuff though, its easier to just use Google. snake slinger 03-22-2008, 09:47 AM very nice Gary 03-22-2008, 10:18 AM New boookmark, thanks Gordon smac 03-23-2008, 07:55 AM Cool link. RIROCKHOUND 03-25-2008, 08:19 AM Josh, Yeah; the parts I looked at in RI are currently USGS/Terraserver images. It was the RIDOT images available from RIGIS for a while. The USGS are killer images. You can get some nice overlays for free via. just save the kmz file and open with GoogleEarth. every estuary NOAA has mapped.... earthnc.com Mr. Sandman 03-25-2008, 09:46 AM I can waste the entire day looking at sites like this.
