GonnaCatchABig1 03-29-2008, 06:06 AM Hey he was covering a story that effects us all...I thought it was very interesting don't get me wrong it was interesting. he just couldn't look more awkward on a boat holding a rod. especially in that outfit he had on. lol. kippy 03-29-2008, 06:09 AM I think he forgot to flip the bail a few times as well..:laugha: Hooper 03-29-2008, 07:15 AM I missed this, wanted to catch it. Any decent info? Or just fluff? kenyee 03-29-2008, 08:44 AM Only thing really interesting to me was that the captain who devoted his time to helping tag/track tuna said his catch logs indicate the football tuna were all around the same size the past few years (47" or so). The ones the previous year who should have grown up weren't coming back. Then there was mention of the mediterranean overfishing and no international size limits. I suspect that's where the real problem is since they're catching them on the breeding grounds using drag nets... GonnaCatchABig1 03-29-2008, 08:45 AM I missed this, wanted to catch it. Any decent info? Or just fluff? i didnt catch the whole thing.. but from what i saw, you can get much more info from something on NatGeo. seemed kind of "dumbed down" for people who don't know the ins and outs of the fishing world/ecosystem. again from what little i saw.. theres alot more useful info about what they were discussing available on sites like this one. also.. what the guy above me said. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
