:( I can't think of any of his movies that I liked, but I do respect the way he stuck up for our right [and his] to own and carry firearms. He will be missed.

I saw the news this morning and it made me sad! I was a big fan and the man had a stellar career! Terrible the way he spent the last few years of his life and I hope he is in a better place. Ben Hur, The 10 Commandments, Planet Of The Apes, the too many westerns to name......RIP Mr. Heston, one of the all time great actors.:(

See "Big Country" if you like westerns...its a true classic!

Soylent Green and The Omega Man were a couple of other great movies by him (OK Great might be a stretch but they were cool)

I pretty much grew up on the Planet of the Apes movies.....they were awesome.

little known fact that Heston marched with MLK and was an ardent supporter of Civil rights.
