View Full Version : Folding T-Top fishaholic18 04-08-2008, 08:27 AM Nice idea, I wonder how well constructed it is though??? http://www.fishmaster.com/products/t-top.htm MrHunters 04-08-2008, 08:29 AM compare it to a custom top... look at the lack of supports on this one. but im sure she will sell a few ;) MrHunters 04-08-2008, 08:45 AM but its super cheap so i guess you have to weigh it out. And i just saw that you can buy extra stand offs too. ProfessorM 04-08-2008, 09:03 AM neat idea. I have been thinking of building a folding radar arch for my boat for a while. Even bought pvc to mock it up. Its on my list of things I'd like to do Goose 04-08-2008, 06:40 PM I think its a bad idea. If your in a river or protected bay or a yuppie boat or sorts... ok. A lot of these NE waters will eat that T-Top for breakfast, get something solid. ProfessorM 04-09-2008, 08:51 AM If I built one, arch that is, it would be solid. I totally agree that the canvas on that thing would make a nice kite in a strong blow. The price is ridiculous too, even if the young lady came with it.. piemma 04-15-2008, 09:19 AM Dave, I wouldn't buy it. For another $400 you can get a perminent T-Top from cabelas that's a lot better built and will stand up to the chop in front of Warwick light in a NE 30 gale and a rising tide. MrHunters 04-15-2008, 11:32 AM it looks like atlantic ttop is what you get through cabelas. if so, what i saw at the boat show. AT is a VERY NICE cookie cutter top. I'm thinking of getting one for my boat at some point. MrHunters 04-15-2008, 11:37 AM much better choice IMHO http://www.atlantictowers.com/at_sub/products_fr.htm piemma 04-15-2008, 11:45 AM I agree. I believe the cabelas is AT. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
