For the 2008 fishing season I would like to announce the BigFish Bait Co. "Best Picture" Contest! The contest will run from now until November 15th and is open to all fish species, both fresh water and salt water!

The rules of the contest are as follows: In order to qualify, the picture must contain a fish caught on a BigFish Bait and in the picture the lure must be hanging from the caught fishes mouth! Size of the fish is not the issue here but the quality of the photo itself is! We will be looking for clarity, content, composition and yes......a Big Fish helps but is not necessary criteria!;) You may post your entry in this thread or e-mail your photo entries to bigfishlarry@hotmail.com.

The contestant with the winning photograph will receive a Large Aquaskinz Plug Bag jam packed with BigFish Bait Co. handcrafted custom wooden lures!:drool: So pack your camera and get out there in the surf, on your boat or in your kayak and "Put a BigFish on the end of your line"!:fishin:

It does not matter who is in the pic Bob! Could be man/woman, adult/child, the person does not even have to be in the picture.....just the fish! The winner will be judged on the composition of the photo (that is the background, does it tell the story based on its own merits) clarity of the photo, size of the fish does not matter.....small fish/big fish......it just must have a BigFish Bait Co. lure hanging out of its mouth!!!:fishin:

Fished RI this weekend and got into some fish once I put bigfishbait co.'s pencil on I fished it for a total of two hours and caught about 30 fish up to 22 pounds. Thank you for making such a nice lure and to show some gratitude I thought I'd post these pics to get this thread moving, sorry for the poor quality pics but its tough to take nice ones when you fish alone. First fish is 22 lbs second is near 12lbs im guessing.

Hey Larry, I absolutely love the Danny and Pencil I got from you. I have a picture of the pencil taking a fish, and it has already taken a few. Unfortunately, the fish I have been getting lately just havent been huge (25" there and about). I will post a pic next time it grabs a FATTIE. The Danny is the 1st plug Ive bought that has made me consider collecting plugs! Seriously, it's awesome looking. I may have to get another one from you to fish because I havent had the heart to throw this one yet :)

About the danny, I like how the spots change darkness as you turn it. The color combo is just sick. I DO want to fish it, but I think I'll put it on a shelf in my son's room. He is only 18 months old. I think it would be cool for him to grow up with a few excellent plugs in his room. That will be the 1st one, unless I break down and fish it this week. Haha, Hopefully, he'll like fishing either way- lol.
That pencil is sick too. It gets up and does its magic with ease. Casts a mile. Seems to me the fish love it. What other kind of stuff do you have "coming down the pike?" Keep me posted, I think I'll be putting in another order very soon. Thanks again!

Mike got the "GO" sign on the Canal with one of the new BigFish "Canal Pencils"! Pic was e-mailed to me by an "unidentified" fisherman......fish measured 44 inches and scaled 35 pounds! Nice fish Mike! Congrats!:drool:
