View Full Version : Bruins Raider Ronnie 04-17-2008, 08:27 PM They're not dead yet ! :jump: freebie 04-17-2008, 08:30 PM this series is far from over ProfessorM 04-17-2008, 08:56 PM I watched it, great game. If they play like that they may have a chance. Really enjoyable game Mr. Sandman 04-17-2008, 08:58 PM That was SWEET! esp in Canada. I dislike the the canadians but hate canadian fans. That was an IN YOUR FACE 3rd period! Gunpowder 04-18-2008, 01:09 AM haha i know right!!! that was a smack in the face to PRICE'S ego.... stupid little freshman out there in the third period. bring it to beantown baby!!! i cant wait to watch the rest of this series  afterhours 04-18-2008, 06:46 AM b's been showing some heart...... Clogston29 04-18-2008, 06:47 AM If they can get a quick one on saturday, I really think they'll have a chance at this. Price looked alittle fragile last night and if you can get to him early, I think he may give it up. Sandman, I hear you on the fans thing. "Olay" is about the worst chant ever. I take the train out of North Station and there have been tons of them around the last couple of games, draped in flags with painted factes. Their nice about it, but they're really annoying. I think its just a canadian thing. The Dad Fisherman 04-18-2008, 08:44 AM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK3I7c0upHE Mr. Sandman 04-18-2008, 01:06 PM I will not go to a Canadian game in Boston because of the insane fans that come down from Canada. I never wanted to injure someone but at one game I really wanted to hit this one guy. I have no problem with someone routing for the other team and yelling and screaming at the game but these guys are frigging insane and there are so many of them it gets out of control. I heard there was a 3 hour back up at the border with these goons trying to get to the Boston game. I was hoping Boston would have won their last game of the season and we would get paired with someone else for the first round. So I am not a big fan of Canadians and their attitude towards the us anyway but that is another topic. No question the Canadians are skilled players and can out skate us, I played the game and they have a lot of talent. However, Boston's team with all these young players who look disorganized at times have some good skills as well and when it all clicks they have a very powerful force. When it doesn't they look foolish. The question is how long can the coach keep them playing like that? Sat will be a hoot. We need to really kick some ass. I think we have to beat them up physically show them "who's their daddy" and pepper Price with shots. I think we have his number now. (he is the best goalie I have seen for his age) . Look for a few big hits and brawls by Thorton and Lucic. It was good to see Kessel get it in gear. The coach did the right thing there IMO. I hear that if we make it past the first round Patrice B may be playing...that would bring down the house. (He is lucky to be alive) I may go to that game. I'll be glued to the set on Sat. Win or lose they did OK this season given the injury list they had. The best part of that game was when they scored the 3rd goal and silence fell on the crowd..they were stunned. the 4th goal they were leaving and it was 5 to one when they got to the parking lot. I loved every second of it. Clogston29 04-18-2008, 01:26 PM at least this year they have to cheer for a team with almost no french canadians on it, that must really bother them. ProfessorM 04-18-2008, 06:53 PM I have hated the Canadians since the late 60's. They have always had the we are better than anyone else , Yankee fans thing , going on since I was a kid. Granted they were good and dominate for years. That rivalry once was as good as Sox, Yankees years ago. Maybe it will start up again. teaser 04-18-2008, 07:44 PM If the Bruins shoot high on the glove side they'll score more often, if you watched all the B's goals 70% were on the glove side or high. Price is very good and there is no doubt about that but if the B's can find the net again Saturday it'll sure make for a good game. Montreal is a good team but good leadership does help the guys on the team, personally I can't stand the Canadiens especially Kovalev. That guys on the ice for every powerplay and for almost the whole powerplay, talk about taking time form a linemate. Bruins really rattled Price in the 3rd but rest assured he will bounce back from that beating, he's done it before. I can't believe NESN isn't carrying all the games in HD, instead they put the Sox on. Like it's crucial that they show the Sox begining their season instead of the B's ending theirs. Anyone else think this is STUPID? Well I've been a B's fan since the 60's and I'll be in front of the tube like some of you's tomorrow, win or lose it was a good season taking injuries and everything else into consideration. Go Bruins! Mr. Sandman 04-19-2008, 03:01 PM I can't believe NESN isn't carrying all the games in HD, instead they put the Sox on. Like it's crucial that they show the Sox beginning their season instead of the B's ending theirs. Anyone else think this is STUPID? Go Bruins! Exactly! They are only carrying the home games it seems in HD.. My son walked in and said: "Dad...something is wrong with the TV" I said for some reason they are not broadcasting in HD...His reply...WHAT A JIP! You get spoiled watching sports in HD.. The playoffs should supersede one of the gazillion games the sox will play this regular season. ProfessorM 04-19-2008, 07:43 PM tonite it is on NESN as it should be Raider Ronnie 04-19-2008, 08:27 PM Down in the 3rd 3-2 on a deflection off their own guy. They just tied it up again !!! 3-3 Raider Ronnie 04-19-2008, 08:41 PM Holy sheit! It's turned into a shoot out, now 5-4 Bruins !!! 2 minutes left ! ProfessorM 04-19-2008, 08:44 PM I don't care who wins this it has been an unbelievable game and series Bigcat 04-19-2008, 08:45 PM Wow what a game:btu: freebie 04-19-2008, 08:46 PM game 7 on monday....unbelievable ProfessorM 04-19-2008, 08:46 PM game seven anything can happen. Hopefully no Hab fans will get the %$%$%$%$ beat out of them tonite Raider Ronnie 04-19-2008, 08:48 PM Ya Baby ! Game 7 coming up ! Great to see someone from management (Cam Neely) up in the press box with so much emotion unlike the stiff who owns the team and only cares about the profit it makes him! freebie 04-19-2008, 08:53 PM Neely was having a blast up there, such an excitable guy spinncognito 04-19-2008, 08:56 PM That was un-fffffing-believable! This whole series (except game 1) has had me on the edge of a heart-attack. I am emotionally exhausted after that game. That team has some real heart and no matter what happens in game 7, this is unreal what they have accomplished as major underdogs. :buds: We need a Bruins Smiley... hooked 04-19-2008, 09:00 PM that.was.awesome The Habs must be chitting themselves.:smash: Mr. Sandman 04-19-2008, 09:01 PM Never say never....NOW THAT that was a Boston Hockey game! Mtl is in disbelief. game 7 will be wild. That delayed shot was on price for the game winner was amazing. He waited until price was down and fired it home!:humpty: teaser 04-19-2008, 09:08 PM Help!!!! I can't feel my feet and my left arm is going numb! Holy Christmas was that an exciting game, man would I love to see them knock off the 1st placed seed! Monteal will fold up the sidewalks and put a closed sign on the border if it happens! What's worse now is I'm leaving in the morning for a 5 day cruise to Bermuda and I can't see the game! Please someone tell me they have something on the ship where I can watch the game .... PLEASE!!!!! freebie 04-19-2008, 09:23 PM if you're going out of Boston they might have the game on, they did that with the sox once when I went, we were on the norwegian majesty, the bars on the island can get most games for you too afterhours 04-20-2008, 06:05 AM wow! this team has brought me back with it's emotion. seeing cam freak out was priceless! IPlease someone tell me they have something on the ship where I can watch the game .... PLEASE!!!!! Yeah, most ships have a sports bar...should not be a problem. Gunpowder 04-20-2008, 03:21 PM i can not believe how well they are playing.... i was GLUED to the tv screen last night.... it was an amazing game. the only problem is i have to listen to numb-nut canadian announcers as i am so close to canada in upstate NY.... whatever though. they were actually beginning to compliment the bruins by the end.... so sweet :) ThomCat 04-20-2008, 04:09 PM :bshake: :grins: Bruins, da Bruins, aye...Bruins, da Bruins aye..... Captain Z-DEN -O!!!!!!!!!!!!:musc:  InTheHole 04-21-2008, 02:13 PM I wish I was in there for that game, it had the feel of the late 60's early 70's when we used to argue over who was gonna be orr or espo during our daily street hockey games. Man I hope they can pull it off tonight!!!! HookLine&Sinker 04-21-2008, 06:13 PM montrial looks fiesty tonight, and there fans edit: way to be thomas:wall: spinncognito 04-21-2008, 06:49 PM Got them just where we want them- down a goal after one but outplayed them the whole period....... Squid kids Dad 04-21-2008, 07:44 PM I hope so...But it tain't looking good:smash: ProfessorM 04-21-2008, 07:51 PM I can't get the game on the radio down here at work on the Cape. Sucks. Friggin metal building no AM. Just looked on line. Oh no. Glad I can't see it now. spinncognito 04-21-2008, 09:03 PM Got them just where we want them- down a goal after one but outplayed them the whole period....... I say they are gonna storm ahead and win!!!! Or not. It's a bummer but who would have thought we would get that good of a series going in? Oh well, Go Celtics! InTheHole 04-22-2008, 07:26 AM Crap!! Double Crap!! I hate losing to Montreal, but they did come out and execute, they stayed out of the silly stuff in front of the net and moved the puck out of their zone well, the Bruins fore checking seemed almost non-existent, but it was an exciting series. Wait until next year!!! HookLine&Sinker 04-22-2008, 07:28 AM canada:wall: vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
