Spring has sprung and the Schoolies have schooled...
Nice weather but generally the wrong wind it is still nice to get out.
So what's up for the weekend?

The Camper is on the Truck, the tools for the clean up and snow fence install are loaded, some good cigars, good food, firewood, radio for sports listening, fermented beverages to get the honey in the honey do mood (lol)...oh yeah, a few rods just in case.

The yard work seems to take so long now. Jobs I'd have done in an hour just 5 years ago now seem to take all day.

Monday Taking a ride up to LL Bean to get some new waders with the family and hang out in freeport for the day.

I think it's time to check it out and throw a few storm shads out there. You should see how good he got at casting his speed racer rod now and he's so proud of himself (3 years old). Can't wait to spend some QT with him.

Flaptail 04-19-2008, 04:40 AM Going to Beantown today to pick up kid(s), tomorrow yard work finish and got to get boat together, Last night scraped and sanded the seats and this morning first coat(s) of Spar var. Also take off leaf springs from trailer and sand and repaint before rust takes it's toll, Got the new tires yesterday.
Even small boats cost money to maintain but she still is a honey at 39 years old!

JamesJet 04-19-2008, 08:00 AM yard work and helping my wife spring clean inside. I figure to try and get as much done as soon as possible so there is less to do as more fish come in. And to be honest the yard and inside could really use it....
At night I will probably get organized for spring fishing and tomorrow is devoted to Boston Sports. I have Red Sox Tix and Celtics Playoff tix. The Sox tickets fell in my lap from work before I knew the playoff game would be at night. I am sure I'll be exhausted Monday
