been happening for a month now, and

i know that it's waaaaay toooooo early for

the NShore. am curious if it's just me, or
are there others of us surfrats out there that are
dreamin' about yer spots, seeing visions of spiked fins cresting the water,
and imagining exploding strikes as our beloved prey inhales yer

well placed offerings?

sometimes it's 0230 ~WIDE AWAKE~ and ready to feesh,
only then i look outside and see that there's frost on the windshield,
or peruse the calendar to be reminded that it's a month/week/days to May's New, or check my BassLawgs to note that my first keepers last year were in July for the NShore............................

Ah yes, SWEET anticipation! The fuel for the Hunt, the fire for the Spirit, and the stuffs that Striper Dreams are made of. C'mon adult pogies, COME AWWWWN!

I resemble those remarks...

Yep, it is frustrating knowing things are starting on that far-away South Shore and that it will be at least a coupla more weeks before things start to stir up here. It will be weeks after that before the night-bite lights up (is that an oxymoron?)

The log in my brain remembers snagging adult pogies with swim shads (incidently) in mid-May last year. Can only hope for a repeat. First keeper in July? Should be early June in my part of the N. Shore.
If the passion in your posts translates to the water, you are in for a fine season bassdawg.... :bl:

thanks, Spin, it's good to know

*that the madness is contagious.*

i did not get out much in June on the NShore
last year and only had 6 schoolies spread out through the month.
i went to FL a coupla times and didn't bang the surf like i wanted to.

this year i'm gonna hit the Saugus River and where it dumps into the Lynn Harbor like it was my job, during June. also, July was for Cape Ann. i'd imagine that most points south of "The Other Cape" were lit up around then. it was ALL good, and thanks for identifying with the passion that drives each of us...............
