View Full Version : Have you ever taken a day off work to fuss with plugs?
Mr. Sandman 05-09-2008, 09:07 AM This is getting to be a serious problem. There needs to be a plug-makers anonymous association.
Ran into PNG yesterday at CCtackle, he caught me loading up on plug stuff.

Backbeach Jake 05-09-2008, 11:32 AM Yes. Kinda. First day on the job, as I was unloading my tools, I found out that the guy who hired me had mislead and lied to me. Wasn't there 15 minutes. Threw the tools that I could lift back into my truck, and for one day I was a pro plug maker. He called me and said that it was all a misunderstanding. I said I would choose to believe him. I was right the first time and was gone in a year. So yes I did ditch work to fuss with plugs...
The Dad Fisherman 05-09-2008, 11:45 AM Never ditched work to do plugs......but I have brought them to work to work on them, especially during the priming/sanding stage

Cranium 05-09-2008, 04:20 PM Well since I work out of my house and my shop is in my house, I guess I am technically at work. so my answer is no.
PNG nice meeting and chatting with you today.
Diggin Jiggin 05-09-2008, 07:15 PM I took the past 2 nights off from fishing to finish the last batch which I need for about 1 week from now :bounce: Wired tonight, epoxy tomorrow and then I'll be done for the year and will clean up the shop. I haven't seen the bare surface of my shop tables since november....
seadevil 05-09-2008, 08:58 PM I leave work building plugs to go fish plugs all the time:bounce:
Swimmer 05-10-2008, 05:29 PM On my day off I wired up and puts hooks on a dozen plugs I painted and worked on over the entire winter. (Actually had to clear bench to wrapped rod). I lined them all up and was trying to figure out which ones I was going to fish first and couldn't. I didn't take the day off to do it, but it felt good nonetheless.
