Been using one of those Neilmed sinus rinse bottles and it makes a huge differance in the amount(lack of) sinus meds that I take which in turn saves a few $$$ and we know how important that is right now.

Thought I'd pass it along to my fellow allergy sufferers.

i woke up today with allergies for the first time in i can't tell you how long.

can you explain that thing... never heard of it before.

If you are a fan of the pharmaceutical path. give aleve cold and sinus 12 hr a try. it is A W S O M E. so awsome in fact, you have to give them your license when you buy it. turns out kids use the stuff to make crystal meth. but as a sinus relief med, its the best i have found.

I just use generic saline solution. At first sign of nasal discomfort. You know the one that starts the sinus infection that starts the fluid flowing into your lungs that in return usually turns to bronchitis and if left untreated long enough can turn to pnemonia.I turn the bottle upside down and squirt the solution in rather than the mist.Tastes nasty but has worked for me, going on at least a year without a sinus infection.I used to get at least 3 or 4 a year.

The thing I use blasts the solution through your sinuses. You use the whole bottle every time. You do it right over the sink,no holding your head back just the opposite slightly forward. You mix the little package with lukewarm distilled water. It really doesn't have much taste and it doesn't sting or burn at all.I use it twice a day,if I used generic saline it would cost an arm and a leg.Basic saline just isn't the same as I used that all the time till I saw this in the store. Its worth giving it a try.

I'll check it out when my supply of Saline runs out.
