What a dsappointment he has been this post season.....to me he is their biggest liability right now and has been playing the worst of anyone on the Celts!! He is a ball-hog and has been lobbing up the 3 pointers to no avail in an effort to make a name for himself instead of playing team oriented ball! He better step up or they will lose this game....unless they keep him on the bench.....which with the way he has been playing....might be a good thing!

He's got 24 points in the 1st 1/2..Is that ok? And what about his defense??

Are you watching the same game I am??? if it wasn't for pierce they'd probably be down by 20.....he's been hitting his shots, taking it inside and getting fouled, orchestrating the ball down the floor, hustling his A$$ off......he's been having a career game out there right now.

He's got more than 1/2 of the celts points right now....

Don't put words in my mouth Kevin! This thread was started as a "Where the hell is Paul Pierce?"!!! :bounce:

phew.

im exhausted after that. paul was awsome. and i said before the game if they lose. i was going to route for the cavs. unlike the hawks they seem to respect the game more and understand the way it should go down.

there was a point where they show'd lebraun and paul talking to eachother, and i'd like to think they were saying to eachother, whichever way this goes you played a hell of a game.

really a great game. a very clean rivalry and performance by both teams.

ill be in ireland for the pistons but i hope to come back to good news in the finals!

Paul was incredible today,......had a very tough job guarding LeBron the whole series....so, I feel thats why his number were down....great win fot the Celts.....but I am WAY more concerned about Ray Allen....he HAS to find his shot if the Celts are going to beat Detroit....Detroit are road warriors....the are very, very good on the road....can't wait for Tuesday! GO CELTICS!!

I wonder if there is any gas left in the tank to match up with Detroit, tho have been resting, waiting to see who their next victim will be ???

no Words....It was just the timing of the post.....40 minutes into the game, and peirce was playing awesome.

And you gotta admint......you do have a tendency to be a little...umm...negative when it comes to sports.

I offer the '04 sox as Exhibit A :hee:

When I posted, Pierce had not yet begun to simmer.......which is why I posted. Nobody else seems to be concerned that he had only just showed up for the playoffs today?:rollem:

I'm just glad SOMEBODY decided to show up....Ray Allen has been the biggest dissapointment so far in the Playoffs.

you could look at it like they have been sitting still for a week. They may come out of the gate stale.

This is playoff time. No one gets tired in the playoffs.

I agree with Karl. If Ray doesn't score at least 12 per game they probably won't have a chance IMO. They also need to take the damn ball to the basket and get to the charity stripe.
