Sicko. BrianS 05-22-2008, 09:48 AM Remind me not to fish with Salty.. ever... FishermanTim 05-22-2008, 10:23 AM A few years back I was fishing in Stony Brook in Weston, at a somewhat secluded bend in the river, when I heard something crashing through the brush about 50 feet behind me. I turned to see what I initially thought was a horse tramping through the brush (No antlers). Then I realized 2 things: The "horse" had a longer than normal head, and that I didn't recall any horse farms in that part of the city. It walked behind me and continued on its way without a second thought. I wish I had my camera ready, but by the time I got it out of my tackle box, it was already back into the thick brush. InTheHole 05-22-2008, 03:35 PM I pull out my trusty moose rifle ( which I always have with me for just such an ocassion ) and I blast the beast to kingdom come and feed the family for the next year. chris L 05-22-2008, 04:29 PM "Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!" Again?? That trick never works. it happened last fall on big caribou lake in maine . only it was on the otherside of the lake Jenn 05-22-2008, 05:40 PM I have encountered my fair share of moose (well ...not while fishing) but quite frankly you dont do anything but back off and let them carry on their merry way!!!! Finlander 05-22-2008, 08:05 PM Had one just yesterday in the Rocky's Hardware parking lot in town. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
