or are there not that many bigger fish around the south shore of ma. this spring . i fished for almost 6 hours today , live lining macks on every hump ,bump , lump and clump with only 1 dropped fish (it was small) i have fished deep ,shallow moving water , not moving water , and i have not got a fish this year , normaly by this time of year i have a dozen fish over 36" plus many smaller , have i been spoiled ,it is starting to remind me of the early 80's:eek:

BO, all I can tell you is there are large numbers of big fish in the Canal and all through Cape Cod Bay from Barnstable to Wellfleet. It's only a matter of time :)

done well with 20-30lb fish in the bay so far this year!

I did pretty well live lining Pollack got one 34” and one 24lb 38” she was fat I am going out in the am to try again:kewl:

Move down south a little ways. You maybe too far north or just unlucky.

tube and worm on lead line I picked up three shorties.

the nice part was that I only put the line in 3 times and came our with three fish. That doesn't usually happen to me...anyway, two 23" and one 22". But just put the boat in so that was nice.
