I am going to visit my grandfather a few weekends this summer and he lives in N. Eastham I am some what familiar w/ the cape but not all that much!
I travel to Brewster alot for horse shows but as far as anywhere near N. Eastham I am not really to sure on where I should go fishing.
If anyone can help me out that would be very appreciated Thanks

fishing from the beach?
In the early morning hours on the incoming tide you can do well with blues on top at sunken meadow or cooks brook beaches on the bay side.
You can also try Coast Guard Beach on the Ocean Side.
Its difficult to fish during the day on the bayside beaches as they are usually crowded.
The ocean side beaches usually won't let you fish during the day between the life guard chairs so you'll want to plan accordingly.
I think after 5 all the parking lots are free until 8 in the am.
Wellfleet has some ocean beaches too but you need a sticker to park there unleass its after 5. Big dunes to walk down and up again though. Lecounts, McGuire Landing, Cahoon Hollow and Newcomb Hollow are all off of Ocean View Drive.
Most people do really well at Newcomb.
Stop in Blackbeards and ask where they're hitting when you go....

The guys at Gone Fishin (right next to the cumby's in Welfleet on 6)are standup guys and will point you in the right direction. I know they usually toss bait on the ocean side beaches around there at first light.
