Hey guys I know a lot of you guys are charter guys or know charter guys, etc., so I need some help.
My buddy is turning 30 the first week in August and wants to go fishing on a charter out of boston harbor for the striped ones.
I know most charters only take 4-5 people on the boat, are there any ones that may be able to take out 2 boats and hit the same spots or is that like taboo? I've done charters before where a bunch of us split up on two boats and never saw the other one until we came back to the dock. It'd be better to be able to see the other boat and almost have a kind of competition between to the two.

Suggestions? I also know the first week in August is in the middle of the dog days, but I'll guess we'll take our chances.

Look at the ave maria website. ROnnie and Mike are two of the best in the harbor and fish together(they are even docked besides one another). 4 people on each boat would be very comfortable(29 ft hydrasport and a 28 ft downeast style). August may be slow in other parts of the state but in the harbor it won't be too bad

Agree - talk to Ronnie & Mike, they work real tight together on charters all the time, fish Boston REAL well.

Another recommendation is Captain Chuck from Skip A Dory. Great guy to deal with.
