Fixed the frames for free 2 times, and will put new lens in for $50. Awesome for everything. Brine 06-19-2008, 06:20 PM I had a pair of Smith (Action Optics) in amber that were really nice, the Caymen style -- till they disappeared anyway. I just got a pair of Bolle Recoils. I got them for $65 off ebay and really like them so far. Real nice for the money IMO. Whatever they are, they've got to be polarized...obviously. ProfessorM 06-19-2008, 06:32 PM Rose Adam_777 06-19-2008, 06:48 PM I grabbed a pair of Blue polarized from an indian guy with bad BO in a mall in mass. They were listed as knockoff's but were polarized.I can see well in the water with them.Cheaper the better as they get ruined, squished and/or lost quick in my line of work. choggieman 06-19-2008, 08:34 PM 580 glass costa del mars with copper lens SAUERKRAUT 06-19-2008, 09:10 PM All of the sunglasses advice is all true and good. However, nobody mentioned tie-on glasses in lieu of the the usual ear rests. The most versatile and comfortable glasses I've ever had. Heavy cloth and rain hoods don't knock them around when you turn your head. Your choice to tie them under or over hoods or wool ski caps. They stay on even if you do a face plant snowboarding. The Fla. charter boat capts. love them. They make you look like a dork though. kayaman 06-20-2008, 06:37 AM All of the sunglasses advice is all true and good. SouthernStriper 06-22-2008, 07:00 PM You might want to look at the Costa Del Mar Tropic Stars. They come with three different lens colors that can be changed out.The lens colors are amber, gray and vermillion. They really holdup welll and you don't have to worry about the lens popping out.Costa's Harpoons are excellent also. Rob Rockcrawler 06-22-2008, 08:16 PM I use amber in a pair of native sunglasses. They are the only brand that i can find that fits my big head. They came with 2 other sets of lenses but they are too light colored. One is almost a rose and the other is a light grey, but in anyhting more than dim sun they are useless. Fisherwoman 06-24-2008, 10:38 AM Maui Jims, Amber nothin better smokefish 06-24-2008, 02:46 PM Kaenon come in 2 diferent shades of amber, grey, or yellow.
