BigFish 06-20-2008, 11:43 AM Their folks must all be very, very proud????:fury::smash:
InTheHole 06-20-2008, 11:50 AM Maybe I just don't get but what is their reasoning?? What a they gaining by doing something so stupid?
FishermanTim 06-20-2008, 12:06 PM They will soon realize that they have royally screwed themselves when they can't go and hang out becuase of the baby, they can't go to the beach, movies etc... because of they need to care for the baby.
If their plan was to have a "communal" care group, where the kids will share the duties of caring for the other kid's kids, then they will soon find out that that the sharing duties will soon be thrust upon the same ones every Friday and Saturday night.
All these kids have done is create a group of bastard children and single parent welfare families.
There was some women quoted on WTKK this morning, when asked if these kids should feel shameful regarding this "pact" they carried out, and her comment was that no, there is no place for shame, only responsibility. What a moron! These kids need to know that there are ramifications for the actions they have taken, and that it is not "OK".
If the parents don't step in and actually "parent" these kids, then they too should be held resposible for the care of the babies, but I forsee the parents giving in and essentailly giving the kids the "green light" to continue with this imbecilic lifestyle.
They are NOT mature enough to decide these things for themselve. If they were mature enough, they'd be living on their own and wouldn't need any help from their parents, but since they are only teenagers they definitely aren't old enough.
They also need to find out who the fathers are, and hold them ALL accountable.
Slick Moedee 06-20-2008, 01:00 PM Totally agree that the fathers need to be brought into the fold. No mention of them except for one. Sad.
fishbones 06-20-2008, 01:28 PM This is going to get real fun for them when the babies are born and they realize that it's not so easy to care for an infant. Getting no sleep, changing diapers, crying and spitting up on them. Then they realize that they can't go hang out at the mall at night because they don't have a babysitter. What a bunch of geniuses. They really put a lot of thought into this big decision.
And the best part of it all is that we, the taxpayers of Massachusetts, will be supporting these idiots when they turn 18 and get on public assistance.
