I sent back a darter to Mike that just wasn't swimming right, not only did he send me a new one, he sent an extra plug with it.

Just wanted to recongnize his awesome customer service, not alot of companies run like he runs his.

Thanks,
Jon

Nice!

Such levels of customer service cannot by matched by "XMarts".

That's awesome. I actually have a darter I need to send too. I'll get it in the mail tommorrow. Did you send it to the Portsmith address on their website? I want say that I have other Tat darters that swim PERFECTLY. I love all of Tattoo's stuff. They are made excellent and (usually) swim as they should.

Anyone had a problem w/ the front hook hanging up on Tattoo Darters...specifically 3oz? Happens to me about 1/5 casts. Doesn't happen with other makes of darters I have. When it hangs up, the front hook is useless and ruins the action.

If you have trouble, I am sure Tattoo will make good if you contact him directly.

There aren't many guys out there who make a wooden darter.

Sent to Portsmouth. The hooks do hang up from time to time on the 3 oz, they seem to hang lower than other brands. Definately well made, I am very satisfied with all the plugs I own, this was the first time I had anything wrong with one and it was rectified very fast.

great plugs great customer service with out a doubt.i have maybe 12-15 tattoo darters if the hooks hang up to much try taking the split rings off and use cut hooks it seems to streamline the plug somewhat it has worked for me.

not only good customer service, but his plugs have been fooling some really nice fish this season.

not a coincidence that some nice fish that ive seen landed this year have tattoo wood hanging from their mouths.

A few weeks ago I was fishing mostly needlefish at a spot where there was a deep dropoff near a bar, on which I was standing.

The action slowed a little and I'm a compulsive plug changer, so I switched to a Tattoo diving swimmer. It was brand new so I smeared on a little smelly jelly. 36lb bass - first cast.

You know a plug catches fish when you have to replace the through wire because it's getting pulled through the hook holes. I have a few Tattoo plugs like that.
