What rod set up do you need to go after 73" tuna.Not sure what they are tipping the scales at that size.

You probably could go down to a 50 weight rod class short rod. If targeting "giants" 130 unlimited is what I and most commercials use. Good luck and make sure if you are going to try and sell the fish you have a general permit which prohibits the keeping of sbfts.
