The Ditch is the Cape Cod Canal.

Now do a search and read everything people have posted over the last year about the Canal and the Ditch. Search also by user names of the people who have posted under the threads you get from the first search. You'll find the people who replied are going to post often about that area. By the time you do all this searching and reading , you should know plenty about the Ditch.
