TonyL
probably 200 to 250.
Oil changed every 50 hrs. Iridium plugs.
I know this is your busy season but when you get time we can make a run and you can play with it.
I gotta get a bigger boat and be able to run ro Brenton, Cutty and The Block.
fish4striper 07-07-2008, 07:39 AM Paul,
Take a Key Largo 206 for a ride. It's an impressive hull and sips gas with a 150 hp on it.

yeah, he'll want you to get a big boat and then just fluke fish with it. :tm:
RIROCKHOUND 07-08-2008, 03:33 PM Jim,
thats because boat bassing is too easy :smash:
Real men go fluking...
Besides, surf fishing builds more character, which is why Paul is such a character :jump:
Get a bigger boat, and I'll have him trolling for giants in at the MudHole w/in a season :fishin:
piemma 07-08-2008, 04:57 PM I just love your new avatar. Who got that for you, Spence?
piemma 07-08-2008, 04:58 PM How big do I need to go to get Tuna?
RIROCKHOUND 07-08-2008, 05:57 PM I was just teasing Paul...
Lets work on fluke fishing first, then maybe some sea bass, then you can think Tuna :D
to have a decent shot at Small bluefin (Assuming they dont show up inshore again) would be the mud-hole, Acid barge etc.. think 10-15miles past the Block.
Low-Mid 20ft range, and pick your days.
Clammer 07-08-2008, 06:15 PM R/R
that,s find for my rig >>
but out front ya gotta pick ya days on most rigs ;;
don,t start b/B on the fluke fishing >> I,m gonna have it mastered this year ????
RIROCKHOUND 07-08-2008, 06:24 PM I'm thinking more 23-25, but pick your days you can do it in a 20. leave early, back early!

Clammer - you are correct. I have the 22' and absolutely love it. I trailer it all over. Two weeks back I took it east of Chatham (BC Buoy) for the first time and caught a tuna. Next day I was launching in Sesuit and fishing Billingsgate and then the Race. Earlier this year I was launching at Haines fishing the upper bay and middle islands. I usually end the season launching out of the Thames fishing Watch Hills reefs, Fishers, Race and Montauk.
Drop me a PM Piemma if you'd like to chat.
Motor Fish 07-08-2008, 10:34 PM I have the same boat (2002 Triton 172) and absolutely love it!!!
jkjnp 07-09-2008, 09:29 AM Paul-
Another plug for the Sea Hunt 20+ foot boats---we fish the Triton 212 with a 4 stroke yamaha 150... great boat. If I see you out there I'll pull up and say hi, I'm pretty sure I saw you on Monday morning when it was tough to get the pogies to the boat before the blues cut them in half.
Jonas
piemma 07-09-2008, 10:57 AM Johas:
We you alone? If so, did see you. And yes, the blues were a pain in the a$$ that morning.

Call me before you come in // I {may] be out :fishin:
piemma 07-10-2008, 02:07 AM Jonas and Mikie:
I'll wave as I fly overhead. Traveling today and tomorrow to Buffalo and Pittsburgh.
Tight lines guys!!!

Hmm, I may want to try that! My boats 20.5! I have no tuna gear though!
Rockport24 07-10-2008, 10:44 AM Piemma, if you don't sell it in like 6 years, I'll take it! :D
