I was on Nauset Friday and Saturday (walking) There were no trucks. The only tire tracks we saw were from an ATV, probably police or bird counters. A few of the cottage people were making the long walk, but it was very quiet.

Just remember, it's not the Park people that want it shut down, it's the US Fish and Wildlife Service. The PArk Reangers dtest this just as much as you and me.

Thier salaries are genetrated from sticker sales among other things. Less sales less people working. Some of those folks are in danger of losing thier jobs (the year round ones).

So, in spite of what Frank Daignault may have written or still pontificates about on that other site, he hasn't been here in decades and has no clue as to the real problems.

blame the two women in the little blue dodge pick-up.

the way things are going everyone will need a boat to fish in the near future, but then they'll figure out some reason we cant do that either, ridiculous

Haven't you heard? Boats pollute the environment and the constant hushed humming from the new 4 strokes irritate the piping plovers during their gestation period. Plus all of the yuppies in their Hummers and BMW's are really getting tired and fed up of having to drive under 75 MPH while following all of those boats down the mid Cape highway. Boating will go the way of the dinasaur....
