Looking for a plugging stick, trying to stay with 10'. I primarily fish the canal, but do fish from the beach as well. I just bought the new shimano 10' tiralejo, and am not as impressed as I would have hoped. It is rated 3-6, and I think I want something that throws less than 3 oz as well. What do you guys think? Any info is helpful, was thinking of returning it and getting a 10' lami?????

get a lamiglas ron arra 126 1mh wrapped spinning....great canal jigging stick, will throw up to 5oz comfortably...and down to 2.0oz but only on a spinner.

Maybe only for you. ;)

I can throw 2 oz on conventional--even that conventional :hihi:

Check out the Tica Dolphin 10'6" as well...M&D in Wareham carries them. I've cast 1.5oz lures with it and it seems to work decently well. Heaved sluggos w/ 4-5oz jigheads into the canal as well, but it's not too happy doing that :-)
