Chuck,
Moon phase calendars are readily available but many do not include the times of moonrise and moonset. I have yet to find the “perfect” surf fishing calendar that provides moon phase, moonrise and moonset times, tides, and sunrise and sunset times. I research this information on various sites of the worldwide web such as: http://www.sunrisesunset.com/custom_srss_calendar.asp and http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/MoonFraction.php

Email sent.

That is a nice book but I was looking more for a quick glance calendar. The sunrisesunset web site has the capability to put everything you need at a glance. Especially if you're fishing different areas in New England - of course it is also free.

Providence Journal has it all although only for the current day and the next five days. Very important though, it's got the funny pages and sports too... :hihi:

Thanks, Ed - I like the funnies :tooth:

But the ProJo just doesn't have the same local...uh...flavor you find in the Daily Snooze.

I like weather underground (wunderground.com) because they will list nautical and astronomical twilight as well as sun and moon rise and set times. Only for that day though! Not the future.

The link DZ gave me was great:

http://www.sunrisesunset.com/custom_srss_calendar.asp

It gives sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset and fields for either nautical or civil twilight in a monthly calendar format. That and my maineharbors.com tidechart and I'm good to go :ss:

Works for me :)
