Always been a surf guy, but I have a boat this season in point Judith... I could lead you to a dozen great surf spots for bass, but when i head out in my boat I go damn near blank... short of headed to the block, any starting points, say drifting eels? Its funny that I feel I have a better shot at a bass with korkers on rather than in a boat with a fish finder.

I dont blame any of you for the lack of response... the only thing lousier than flat out asking for a spot is how I felt swallowing my pride to ask for one on a forum... I'll figure out the area eventually.

I would help you. but I am on the North shore of Mass. and do not know anything about fishing the R.I. Coast in a boat!!!
These guys on this site would not help their own mother find a fish!!!
Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just go where you would go if you were surf fishing and do it from the boat. Center wall would be a great surf spot if you could get there.

All around the walls of the harbor of refuge, both inside and outside. There is a series of humps about a mile outside of the west gap as you head toward matunuck, fish often lie in the depressions on a running tide. That should get you started.
