Hello, New to site. I recently moved to Westerly RI from CT. I have a 21' W/A cuddy looking to blue fish/striper fish from boat. I found the launch across from McQuades, any pointers where to head to after the mouth of the Pawcatuck. I used to fish the Niantic Ct area with my father in law. All new to me. Thanks for any advice

Yes, head right to your charts and learn the area :tooth: - LOTs of great places to fish off there and lots of places to trash a hull. The two tend to go hand in hand.

You have all kinds of currents in there, structure around Naps, Watch Hill. Fishers, sand bars, reefs, you name it.

Napatree,Sugar Reef,Green Can#3,Lords Passage,Catumb you should be able to do something in those areas.Keep your eyes and ears open and you'll learn the area and the guys who fish it.

I'd recommend picking up a chart that shows the area in detail, b/c, as John said, there's lots of stuff to hit up here. Lots of great water and structure too.

Go see Don at King Cove on Rte.1 in Stonington, just past the Greenhaven Rd. traffic light. He'ls good people and will do you right.
