Hope someone out there comes across my prized 1800's shotgun that my Grandfather, who I never knew, gave me when I was born. It was stolen from the mantle above the fire place in my parents' 250 year old home in CT last Thursday night.
Description:
**MUZZLE LOADER - NOT BREACH**
Don't know the maker.
Double barrel percussion cap shot gun with 2 triggers.
Has wooden ram rod beneath the two barrels.
Metal pieces on side of stock may have birds engraved on them.
Stock is a reddish-brown wood.
Quite heavy.
Please let me know if you see it listed somewhere or hear of an old shot gun for sale for cheap.
Thanks folks,
Jon
PS I posted this on the other striper site with pics of a similar gun.
